The Lozarithm Lens

The Bridge Inn, Horton

For my first canal blip of 2014 I braved the dismal weather and drove to my most local stretch of canal, at Horton Bridge. Although the adjacent fields showed signs of flooding, the canal had not overflowed, although the level was very high, and the towpath quite muddy. I kept my eyes out for a grey heron, seen on that stretch before, but not on this occasion, although a pair of swans flew across the canal above the bridge. Solstice was moored next to it to the north.

P.S. That's Archie parked in the lay-by opposite the pub (you may need Large to see it).
