Switch-on

It's a disturbing thought that there are less than three weeks remaining until the clocks switch over to Winter Time. DEpressing!

This point is brought home all the more on dull, overcast days like today (yesterday's glorious sunshine seems like a dream now). This lamp not far from home decided to do its auto-switch-on thing at 4.45 pm, for goodness sake!!

Definitely the sort of evening to stay indoors to nap, read, watch telly and listen to music.
