Sparkling Hamamelis

A month ago I blipped the first very tiny signs of these flowers opening and today, in the lovely morning sunshine, both the yellow and the red Hamamelis (witchhazel) were looking beautiful.

I couldn't decide between the yellow and the red so here you have both.

We didn't seem to get the frost that was promised today, maybe when it becomes really cold this French Lavender will go back to sleep!
