Frosted

Like many other people in the UK we woke up to quite a heavy frost. A rarity this winter so far.

I wandered around the garden taking shots of lots of lovely frosted leaves and flowers, but what to choose. ( I even took some frosty cat paw prints on the car bonnet)

Here are two seed heads rimed with frost; a poppy head and a Geum and surprisingly a Geum flower still in bloom.

It was quite treacherous walking up to church both on the pavements and on the road, but on return it had softened and the clouds were back. More rain on the way no doubt. Let's have some proper winter weather!
