Cat's Tracks: Negative--then Positive :)

Today saw even more rain than forecast--all day-- and warmer; the thermometer rose from about freezing to 54° F (12° C) this evening.

These tracks were certainly made by neighbor's cat Lily during the night.The top image is from 8 am, before the rain had melted much of yesterday's thin layer of snow. The bottom image is from 14:15 in the afternoon--only the icy tracks are left, white against the dark driveway.

As I predicted yesterday, the sheet of ice in back of our house on that part of the driveway has become a pool of very cold water (certainly about zero ° C). Tomorrow's blip??? Anyone care to cast a vote?
