Ice along the Lake

We went to the park after breakfast, as we were supposed to have "intermittent sun" today & I thought the ice would look so pretty in the brighter light! However, the sun has chosen to stay hidden behind yet another day of grey skies, so no help from there! A great deal of the ice that was formed around the edge of the lake has melted, now that we have these "high" temperatures (like 35 degrees F), but there's still some left. I liked this shot with the "frozen in air" water, & I also liked all the chunks of ice you can see in the water, as well as the sort of stalagtite-type (say THAT 3 times quickly!) ice formations in the opening of the depression in the rocks! (Best viewed LARGE) :)
