Heroic

After behaving himself wonderfully during our engagement shoot, DB struck this heroic pose for me while I was photographing the hay bales against the moody sky.

DB got sent home from the site when it closed at about 9.30 am, once temps had hit 35C.

We did some lightening watching later on, hair sticking to the back of our necks in the hot breeze. It's almost like another world, gazing at the horizons where enormous forks strike the earth; such a grand scale out here in the country.

All the while, being on alert for a fire warning to grab your loved ones and get out. Mercifully so far, we haven't had any such thing for the farm.

Fish and chips with some new friends and then home for a much more comfortable night's sleep, thanks to a slight drop in temperature.

All good stuff.
