Fat bird

The starlings go bonkers for the fat balls, squares and bits. No sooner than I'd filled up the feeders than the sparrows, robin, pigeons and starlings were having their breakfast. What a noise from them all! It's lovely to hear.

I enjoyed a productive day basking in the rainforest before tackling the lovely tax. I always leave it until mid Jan and I always say I won't next time. Some lessons are never learned.

I watched Lawless this evening, which is based on a true story. Remind me not to go to Prohibition America when time machines are invented. Ouch. It's a good film, though, and the soundtrack is excellent. I missed the Nick Cave cameo - Gary Oldman shoots him near the beginning.
