Sunset on a wonderful weekend

It's not often I get a whole weekend with my partner, but this one was made extra special because we went to some beautiful places and saw some amazing creatures.

I had my camera with my luckily and was able to capture the Black Throated Diver who featured on my Blip yesterday, I miseed the pair of kingfishers but to be honest just seeing them was enough. Then today breakfast out, and a quick visit to see if the kingfishers were still there. Unfortunately not, but another glimpse of the Diver and a photograph of a well hidden fox watching me.

The afternoon was spent target shooting, with photographs of a kestrel and a barn owl in the bag for my Bird Freaks contest.
