Just after American Thanksgiving I ordered a half-circle stained window from one of the shops in Los Algodones, Mexico. We collected it right after New Year's Day. D carried it across the border under his arm.

Once we got it safely home, we discovered that our half-circle window isn't an exact half circle. D has done a little engineering with a metal bracket and some plastic attachments meant to secure a mirror. We had our fun climbing up on the step ladders and jockeying for position so D could anchor the window while I held it in place. I am sure the proceedings would have made for an amusing video. All said and done, we're happy with the results.

This morning, as the sun rose over the Gila Mountains, the light caught our new stained glass window bringing up all the colour. Our Arizona sunset was lit by the Arizona sunrise.
