King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, Glasgow

There is a first time for everything.

A crowd of us went to support our friend Esther O'Connor and her band at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut. What a brilliant name for a venue. It is smaller than I expected, but means you are close up to the performers. Good sound. It is one of Glasgow's leading concert venues for new and emerging bands.

Really enjoyed Esther's set, and then Mayer Hawthorne and The Country who had flown in from the US.

Out into torrential rain and high winds, and the madness that is Sauchiehall Street on a Saturday night.
