Portrait

Today’s challenge is portrait so I had several thoughts. Victoria, my granddaughter would make a good picture; no, she has gone to Cambridge, shopping with her friend. Oliver, no, he has flown to Scotland this morning and then onwards by train and ferry to the Isle of Arran for his AS Geology field trip. That left my daughter, son-in-law and the GOG; I decided against these three. So what was left? Well the GOG finds Florence difficult to photograph and she is if she is aware of you. Today, as on most cold days, Florence sleeps in her upstairs bed. The trick is to wake her up with the camera already focused and press the shutter as she wakes up; simples!

Her bed is quite large for a little cat and she is very small, so she tends to sleep in the middle with the ends pulled up around her making a little nest.

Anyone know what is behind her? No guessing from the GOG please as you will now what it is.
