Head On

8.3C starting dull and damp. Brightened for a while through the afternoon. Breezy.

The forecast rain didn't appear this morning so Maeve the Deerhound and I had our trip through to Arbroath and a wander round the harbour. The tide was higher today so I was able to get a different angle on all things boaty.

After lunch we had a trundle out the country road, but didn't go very far.

Later there will be Haggis, bashed neeps, carrots, and champit tatties. There will also be a spicy Shiraz to toast the bard. A nightcap of Islay Malt Whisky is rumoured :-)
