Tom Yum Soup

An interesting day today. Bill went to a train show and I went and got Auntie and we went to our son's condo to visit with him for a bit. Ended up in the wrong lane, so a quick detour across the 405 bridge to NW Portland, turn around and come back and made it to his place. Got to see his new game on his new Play Station...yes, after many years without, he can play video games. He showed us the game, and I must say, they've come along way since we stayed up late to play Pong, watching a little light bounce back and forth.

We then all went over to the Thai restaurant, where David's girlfriend works and met her for the first time, actually. She's very nice and she insisted on treating us for lunch. This is Tom Yum soup and it was Yum!

A stop at the mall for me to get my library book and for Joan to snoop in the stores, then home to share the Thai food we brought home with Bill before he went to the Trailblazer game. We were all coming and going all day long. Then he returned home, with a Blazer victory (yay), and then we took Joanie home. All's well that end's well.
