Yorkshire Pudding Day

Those of you who watched James Martin on Saturday Kitchen yesterday, will know that he mentioned that the first Sunday in February is Yorkshire Pudding Day!
He also showed how to make the best Yorkshire Puddings and one thing he mentioned was you must use full fat milk, and beef dripping to cook them!

So here are my Yorkshires which we had for tea tonight!
Made with full fat milk, and beef dripping!
And they tasted wonderful!
Onion gravy for MrC and Raspberry Vinegar for me. (This is homemade vinegar. The recipe handed down my family for generations! Probably an acquired taste, but I love it! Brings back memories of my childhood!)

We were lucky to have sunshine all day today.
Went for a 6 mile walk round Swillington Ings, and St Aidens RSPB.
Unfortunately my new camera wouldn't work.
The LCD screen was just pink and blue lines. Turned it on and off several times. Took the battery and SD card in and out. No Joy.
Back home changed the SD card, and Hey presto, it worked again! Also worked with the original SD card.
So don't know what was wrong, but hope it doesn't happen again!
Fortunately it is still under guarantee, but today it meant no photos taken.

Hope you have all had a good weekend, and weren't effected by the storms.
