Patagonian mara

Today we visited the Buenos Aeries zoo, we had our day mostly free and not having enough of animals from the Amazon decided to see what the zoo had in store for us. It was great due to it having some animals the Australian zoos don't have as well as many free roaming animals. These included the Patagonian mara I used for today's blip who is a relative of the rabbit and were all over the zoo and fairly unafraid to come close us. There were also a few peacocks and some nutrias which are a type of river rat.

There were many other great animals there and we managed to spend about four hours there despite the 42 degree weather.

Later in the evening we went to a samba club and enjoyed some excellent food, wine and some very impressive dancing and music. It was truly impressive but did run a little long and we were starting to droop by the end...but that may also have been the wine.
