Had a good night and this morning all still "clear" and no pains. Reckon the stones are hiding waiting for the weekend.

An incredible day weatherwise - have to say it was an early spring day even if a look at the calendar dashes the dream. Spent the day getting the tractor in to a roadworthy condition. Jürgen the tractor mechanic has the parts for the water pump and would like to do the work at his place. At the same time he will get MOT (German TÜV) done which ran out 2 years ago!

We have an ad in ebay small ads for the Chabos/Japanese bantams for about 2 weeks. Recently someone took three hens, we should have insisted they take a cock as well as we have so many (they have their own cock). Today a very pleasant guy turned up and took 4 hens & 2 cocks, again he has some already. He also has two border collies who sadly were at home. Saw a photo and could easily have thought he had our two.

Although pleased to have 9 of around 30 gone, Angie has been kicking herself all afternoon for letting her favourite boy go. He's the one at the front of the left box. A very friendly guy.

Flash was in typical "On Guard" mode. The moment one handles them he has his nose 1" away from them, seems to be a warning not to try and escape. He guarded the box entries, kept his nose on the boxes as they were carried to the van and then sat there staring at them. He has always done this much like Emmy's Hero with her hamsters.

Have to finish Angie wants to Blip and e-mail.

Weekend almost in site and temperatures in double figures! even if a bit stormy tomorrow and the next few days. Stormy is relative, probably for you Brits, our swill be a light breeze. Hang on tight.
