H is for Hot Air Balloons

Today we went to the Hudson Hot Air Affair. We watched almost 40 balloons fill up, heat up and take off. We were able to get as close as we wished. I have so many fun shots it was hard to decide what to use today. After dark, many of the balloons were back on the grounds and were lighting up the night. They didn't fly but would turn on the heaters so the balloons glowed. So beautiful. Many people where in attendance despite the cold. I chose this photo because my favorite part was seeing all of the balloons floating away together. Unfortunately we didn't have a bright blue sky. As the balloons went up the people cheered and took pictures while the people in the baskets were taking pictures of what was happening on the ground.
