Fruit of the earth

Yesterday I said I had visited my sister's old world home and garden. I brought her garden trug home full of veges fresh from their garden. I added fresh silver beet and re photographed it today.
This trug was hand made out of fine strips of willow soaked etc and is put together with copper nails. The master craftsmen lives south of here at Oamaru and makes some amazing things out of willow like rakes etc; It is a nice addition at the door to their old world home.

I have already eaten some of these lovely fresh veges with my dinner. Lucky me.
