Church of the Holy Rude, Stirling

I thought, since I was going to Stirling this afternoon, that I would be able to get a good picture of the Wallace Monument with the snow-clad Ochil Hills in the background.

Wrong! The rain & sleet just about obliterated the view of the monument and almost completely obscured the hills. Apart from that it was rather windy standing on the castle esplanade. Took one photo of the grey skyline and the semi-hidden highlights, as if just to say I had been there, and then turned round and took a picture of the Church and Mar's Wark Cemetery. That's the one for my blipfoto of the day: Bruce and Wallace can wait another day!
