N is for for ... Newly Built

We drove to Araleuin today in the Darling Ranges around 35 klm's East of Perth, then on to the Canning Dam for our picnic lunch, on the drive home we drove to Perth Airport’s "Newly"-opened outdoor viewing platform where you can watch aircraft arrivals and departures on the main runway..

It's as close as you will get to watching aircraft arrivals and departures without boarding a plane and allows people the opportunity to view the wide variety of aircraft that land at Perth Airport.

It was interesting to see how busy Perth Airport has become, (I got some great shots of a few 737's taking off)
In 1982 there was only one small Airport for both international and domestic flights, another Airport was built some years ago for International flights.

The land where Perth Airport stands forms part of the former meeting place and camp sites of the indigenous people of Australia, the elders of the of the Noongar people still have a strong interest in this land, and the ongoing development of Perth Airport and the " Indigenous cultural heritage and reconciliation"..

A poor attempt today for the letter "N" having said that we've had a great day, so I'm not complaining ....
