Psalmist with a camera

Global View

Tonight we worked our way around the world begining with India, progressing through the entire sub continent, then on to Africa, Tunisia, and Morroco, eventually stopping for a bite to eat on the southern most tip of Europe in Greece!

From the comfort of our al fresco diner, we viewed the Forbidden city of Imperial China, watched the Arabian maidens indulging in fruit fancies from Italy while their male counterparts frequented the Holland mini pancakes booth!!!

Suitably refreshed we made our way back via the bridge of sighs over the canal, perusing the streets of Spain, Germany, and Palestine, then gingerly skirting the borders of Saudi Arabia (which we always miss! for obvious reasons!)

A quick flit across the carpark avoiding the bustling crowds that were just arriving and we were soon en route to Karama and home.....lighter by a few dirhams.....heavier by a few bags of carefully selected goodies!!!

Oregano from the slopes of Mount Olympus, hand stitched cushion covers from India, buffalo horn carved tree trinkets from deepest Africa, multicoloured beaded necklace from Senegal and oven gloves (very touristy) from London! Where else can you shop the world like that!!??

There has to be one more trip before it closes down on February 28th!! Can't wait!!

Happy Blipping Everyone!
