Triffid

You can see in the background what it will become but at the moment, it just looks more than a wee bit eerie.

It was Thursday today and Thursdays are packed with stuff from beginning to the end.

This one involved a really long meeting - colleagues from Hamburg were in town to discuss "a few things" and what was meant to be a 2 hour meeting turned into 3 and a half plus another hour in the canteen having lunch and then Kaffee.

Then after a packed afternoon I headed off to my three hours of German as my colleagues headed off to the IT Conference to hear how brilliant our plans for this year are.

I suspect that I had the better side of that deal - the number of people who can stand in front of a Powerpoint presentation, repeat everything that is displayed in Powerpoint and make it seem interesting can be counted on the fingers of the King Of Fingerless People. (I think he might be called Tony With The Tiny Pinky, but then again I may be delirious with a foreign grammar).

What's that you say?
"Don't go into the light."
Righto. It would be difficult to get into the lamp anyway.
" Open a beer and chill out a bit"
Splendid advice, consider it taken.
