oops-a-daisy

Well, I didn't get as much done as I'd have liked today at the house... bathroom is irksome and taking ages - and I've had a fair few oops-a-daisy moments of paint splashes to wipe up.

Just checking on the spelling of oops-a-daisy (of which there are many!), I found that the first known record of any form of the term is in Clough Robinson's The dialect of Leeds and its neighbourhood, 1862 and is indeed, oops-a-daisy.

Yorkshire... must be right ;-)

I mentioned I spotted daisies on the field yesterday and thought the hailstorm that I got caught in today might have finished them off but these sturdy little characters seemed to be showing off despite getting attacked from above.
