Help Needed........

My laptop wanted to upgrade Windows 8 to 8.1 this afternoon.

No problem...............

3 hours later it had finished.

How in the name of all that is holy can an upgrade take longer than a complete rebuild of a computer?

It wasn't just me that was pleading for it all to stop.
The cat wasn't too happy either.
Squirrel was having a great time.
