Ladybird

Today although it is cold and quite windy I decided that I would work in the garden for two hours. I planted most of the plants I purchased at Scotsdales on Thursday although I still have a few more to do. The border they are going in is not quite ready. I also did some other sorting out jobs and hopefully I will be able to do another two hours tomorrow.

Whilst sorting out some fennel plants I came across this Ladybird, which is actually a beetle and belongs to the Coccinellidae family. I dashed indoors and upstairs to get my camera; it was still there when I got back, the first one I have seen this year.
