Laranjeiras

Where we had lunch today, feijoada, in the bairro of Laranjeiras. It's a hidden away wee place, in a little passageway of houses way way up a steep hill - the kind of place that makes me wonder if we'll be able to get a taxi when we're ready to leave and what to do if we can't. The taxi driver had to phone for help in arriving. It was raining, but we were in the passageway under a shade and the very good feijoada made up for it. We're still here, 6.10pm and I'm not so worried about how we get away from it now! That's a good sign.

These two guys were at the table in front of us and one of them was the husband of the lady in Bb's blip today.
