Crocus

As promised a picture of one of the pair of crocuses growing together. I was sure that the stamens were a different colour, but now that they have opened, they were both the same - a very beautiful gold.

It was a nice day after the cloud cleared. Unfortunately, as I can't drive until the beginning of April, we have to do the shopping on a Saturday morning again. So we got that out of the way, changed a mattress for the mother-in-law, picked out daughter up from work and went home for lunch.

In the afternoon I watched the football, got out into the garden for an hour and watched the rest of the rugby matches.

In the evening we went round to a friend's for a meal. Lovely food and excellent company finished off a pretty good day.
