Breakfast Reading

A quick run along the length of Ponsonby Road this morning. The city was starting to wake up, and more and more people were out and about. Some waiting for the bus; others walking purposively somewhere; one woman was sweeping outside the entrance to a (closed) bar. Most were in cars, presumably driving themselves to work. The majority would be people passing along or across Ponsonby Road, rather than pausing.

Outside the Santos Cafe was Omar. Reading a book. I approached him and introduced myself, explaining my purpose as a blipper, and asking his permission. He readily agreed to be photographed, and continued to read. He approved of the photo.
