Red Kite with prey

First of all, thank you for your kind comments on my 500th blip yesterday - very much appreciated :)

At first look, I thought that this red kite was carrying nesting materials in its talons, but on looking closer, I realize that it is in fact a pair of legs of a wading word - probably a little egret.
