Fish on a Friday

Was quite glad of the excuse to stop for a bit when this chap popped up, was a bit of a slog heading into that wind this morning.

The river's not too deep here and spotted this big guy's silhouette gliding down river just under the surface. Think he spotted me too and after passing under the bridge he surfaced and turned back around to let me get a couple of shots off, before dipping back under and gliding off again to do a bit of Friday fishing.

Always fascinating to see these animals swimming past whilst the City obliviously gets on with its business yards away.
