Feeling Guilty

At breakfast we did not finish the bread we had with us, so later on when we happened upon Loch Fyvie and wandered up to the shore we felt quite guilty. As we were approaching the shore of the loch we were approached by two swans and an armada of ducks but we had nothing to offer them.

We received this reproachful look from one of the swans as we were about to depart. The weather was cold windy and cloudy so we may have been the first people they had met all day, so they must all have been disappointed.

Feeling guilty and chastised we went on our way.
