Suspicious glow

This is the nuclear power station at Torness. I'm sure that glow is just a reflection of the sunset, and nothing suspicious.

Wonderful walk today. We parked up near the power station and headed south along the beach, past surfers, sort of sitting down boat surfers (I'm sure they have a proper name), a seal and a kestrel to explore for fossils. Honestly, we were tripping over them - I guess the possibility of them being irradiated stops most folk wanting to take them home! At the end of the walk (well, the end of our walk - the John Muir Way goes further) is a sea arch, here acting as a frame for the power station.

And to cap it all, there was a rainbow the whole time we were there.

So, it rained a bit. Well, ok, it rained for the whole return journey. And it was pretty cold. And the rocks were quite slippy. And there are lots of streams across the beach so we were all wet to the knees. But there was hot chocolate and roast chicken and chorizo waiting at home, so all worked out well in the end.
