Kirkcaldy Galleries

How nice to see the flowers in bloom outside Kirkcaldy Galleries. The galleries are across from the Adam Smith Theatre and therefore form part of the cultural cluster around this part of the town, which is situated in the heart of Kirkcaldy.

The recent £2.5million refurbishment programme has restored many of the original features of the War Memorial building, as well providing a fresh, contemporary space for visitors to enjoy.

Within the building you can enjoy, amongst other attractions, a modern Library, Kirkcaldy’s "Moments in Time" Museum display, the art gallery which exhibits amongst other things Scottish colourists and Fife's own Jack Vettriano, a local & family history room, a Visit Scotland information centre, a cafe & shop and many other attractions that I have failed to recall and mention.

A nice place in a nice setting.
