The Way To My Wifes Heart

A day off worrying about rugby, blogs, accounts, bookkeeping and the fact we can't currently live in our house ...

We had a new roof put on the kitchen on Friday, somewhere along the line they damaged the waste water pipe from the bathroom and left us without a toilet. The hopes of getting it fixed on the final Six Nations weekend of the week were zero! We have staying at my mum and dads since Friday. All a bit of a pain. At least we are lucky enough to have that option!

We went into Cardiff this afternoon to get mums birthday present and her card. I also had to pick up my Spillers Records T-Shirt (future blip there!). It was cracking afternoon. We had a nice lunch and then finished off with an ice cream and coffee in Cadwalders ... Dawn decided to combine the two in one glass!

Hoping the house will be sorted tomorrow!
