Week off

Actually, not wee at all, but a horribly irritating chesty cough that meant I took the day off today. Lemsip Nuclear strength and a flagon of cough syrup should have seen the worst of it off though.

This morning's ace movie 'Stalag 17' was balanced out by an utterly forgettable one this afternoon - 'Balls of Fury'. - but I didn't have the energy to trawl the listings for anything else.

As a consequence, today's blip expedition didn't get past the top of the stairs. Still, I was well impressed by my daughter's organisation for her Biology prelim tomorrow. Lots of pages of notes blu-tacked to her bedroom wall on cell structure, pollination, capillaries and the like. Can't remember ever being THAT organised at 15.

Off to have some St. Andrew's Day Haggis now...
