11.5C with rain until early afternoon then brightening. Wind 25mph gusting 34 mph.

Maeve the Deerhound has spent most of the day fast asleep.

When the rain went off after 2pm the sun came out so we went for a walk down to the shore. As we walked the clouds quickly blew out to sea and by the time we got down to the beach it was very bright and breezy. The tide was almost fully in and there were lots of breakers over the rocks and at the shoreline.

Maeve is fast asleep again.
