Chillin'

This is Maximus - you may remember him from last month.

Max is a 16 week old Italian Mastiff who was a bit shy and unsocialised when his owner took him on.

He has been visiting us weekly for socialisation and desensitisation and the trips have made a huge difference.

He now comes in calmly with a wag of his tail, is interested in other people/animals in the waiting room instead of hiding behind his owner and at last will take treats from us!

Today he was just totally nonplussed by being with us, meeting everyone and getting his 16 week Parvovirus vaccination.

He really wasn't that perturbed to see me lying on the consulting room floor taking photos of his handsome face.

Very rewarding when pet owners take advice and work so hard to ensure they have a happy, content and confident companion.

Makes their life easier.

Certainly makes our lives much easier!

Looking forward to some non-dog Blips over the next few days as we are off to Onich to celebrate my wonderful hubby's 40th birthday!
