Crummock water, Mellbreak and clouds

Every weather condition imaginable today – sun, rain, hail – and whilst we were standing here at the end of Crummock freezing out butts off – 40 – 50mph winds, straight down the lake at us! (Though we have experienced stronger winds at this point in the past) The wind was lifting columns of water up on occasion too. More pics here

Ended the day at Moss force and after this shot, was in the stream to the right of the shot, setting up a vertical, when the hail came on so hard – I ended up with hailstones between my polariser and my grad.

Sometimes you need to know when to stop!
