Goldfinch - again!

Though this is a first for a goldfinch in a cherry tree. Mum went home this morning with Merv who was going to do some jobs for her and we went to Tai Chi. I've been doing some preparation for my printmaking this afternoon, which is when I took the photo. Fortunately the window in this room opens wide and this bird landed in the tree while it waited for its turn on the Niger feeder. camera Club tonight, which is a mix and match contest with Shafton. (They're really about having some fun and don't tell anyone but there's always a good deal of cheating goes on.)
