Looks Good To Me

Tea and Biscuits

A welcome break -- thanks to Cynthia.

The blip title works better for UK blippers, since the edible equivalent of the oval pieces of wood would be called cookies here in the US, but these are used in biscuit joinery, and are thus referred to as biscuits. In case you're not confused enough already, the technique is also referred to as plate joinery.

I finished cutting all the slots today and the NBP is almost ready to be glued up -- always a stressful stage in any woodworking project -- but more so in this case because of the size and weight of the pieces. I'm giving it a lot of thought, and a dry run is probably a good idea. I wonder if the term originated in woodworking?
