The National Cemetery ........

.......... of the Alleghenies south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Reflecting on life and death ....

From love yesterday to reflections today.

The site was continually farmed since the 1800's and the region was the flashpoint area of the insurrection of the Whiskey Rebellion in 1794.

Amongst other brave men and women buried here is Charles William Tate a fighter pilot with the Tuskagee Airmen.

It's now 5.30pm (EST) and, although the sky is quite grey and cloudy, it's not particularly cold and the sun is trying its best to shine a little.

Thank you very, very much for all the comments and stars and the amazing amount of hearts given to the Primates in Love ...... I'm sure, if they knew, they would be thrilled.

Something very different today - at least my journal is not too predictable :-))
