Bumble Bee

Out and about in the garden today with the camera, I took quite a few pictures, some of which were quite reasonable, including Dougal and some of our flowers. The grass in our garden is about 150mm tall and the water has now receded so that the part of the lawn that is covered is under just about 150mm of water. Ducks were swimming over the lawn and leaving a flattened wake of grass behind them, so that you could see where they had been; you could also see where the lawn ended and the pond started. I took several pictures of the ducks and their wakes and was going to use these, but at the last moment the opportunity arose to take this picture of a Bumble Bee with its head in a tiny flower collecting the nectar. I thought that I could take most of the other pictures listed above on another occasion, but I was not able to see a Bumble Bee collecting nectar so easily, hence this blip.

Health fine, though still healing and very tired, but no significant problems
