Tinted Tuesday Tulips
Today, I have been mainly decorating.
It was meant to be just the 'cutting in' for one contrast wall in my Grandson's nursery. Six hours later and an aching back, it's still nowhere near finished.
If you have the time and/or the will to read what actually happened, see below .....
My Daughter hands me a tin of paint to touch-up the contrasting walls and as I'm putting it on, I'm thinking, 'This seems a bit dark, perhaps it will dry lighter'.
She then tells me that she's given the wrong tin of paint, by which time there are dark blobs all over the remaining three walls! Laughing to the point of crying, she finds the paint that it should have been painted with, opens the lid and discovers that it has 'gone off'.
Nevermind, I thought, we'll just go and buy another tin, which would have been very simple if the company who sold it were still in existence! It was impossible to match up what was already on the walls, so a whole new scheme had to be chosen.
I must make a note to myself...when offering to do decorating, make a bodge of it, so that you never get asked again.
Today's blip was due to a mad moment on the computer, when I decided to turn three perfectly beautiful white tulips into something a bit psychedelic.
