Break in the clouds over Buchlyvie

After a drive through some quite heavy showers in the early evening, I parked the car outside Buchlyvie Community Hall and had a little time to spare before my meeting. The rain kind of gave up and the sun broke through momentarily, allowing me to capture, from under my umbrella, the dramatic view north to the hills beyond this attractive Stirlingshire village. It was a toss-up between this and a little flock of half a dozen chaffinches which I spotted resting on a hawthorn hedge. Maybe I'll have another chance at chaffinches but I'm unlikely to be in Buchlyvie again in the early evening with such a dramatic sky.
