Spring Collection

I've gone for another flower arrangement today - this time white tulips, hyacinths and blossom. I've given it a different treatment - an artistic dry brush filter (Photoshop) and set the vase on the yellow fabric of the conservatory settee to provide a spring-like background. The lighting was diffuse natural overhead light and the modelling was created by adjusting the highlights somewhat.

I've a further confession. These blooms are not real although they have a "just cut" look and are pretty perfect in every botanical detail. They came already arranged in a vase with clear, water-effect resin to stabilise them and complete the illusion. So it is a double-take on spring flowers! Maybe it is the only way we'll see any this year as, from current forecasts, it may just jump straight to summer.
