Magnolia 'Butterflies'

About five years ago, on the advice of a friend, I bought and planted two Magnolia ‘Butterflies’ plants. This is one of the most yellow of the Magnolias, but my trees refused to be generous. A couple or three buds were the most we saw. This year, apparently, they have decided that they are finally at home and at least one of the trees is sporting multitudes of beautiful yellow flowers. The trunks are tall and somewhat spindly, so the only shot I could get of them is up from underneath the tree. No mind, the tree is at the bottom of a slope and provides a beautiful view of its canopy from the living room.
