MONO TUESDAY - ALMOST!!

You could be forgiven for thinking that it's Mono Tuesday. This beautiful wading bird caught our eye when we were killing some time by the Parramatta River this afternoon.

I was delighted to see the White Egret again who had made his Blip appearance on the 4th of April. After taking 3,000 shots of my little mate suddenly a White Faced Heron came flying in and took centre stage. Apart from the colourful legs, he makes a perfect mono subject (in my humble opinion)!!!

I think the White Egret must live there permanently, we realised that he has wised up to the fact that little fish probably come flying over the weir into dangerous territory.
