Tough Times!

This little gal is one of the first Monarch caterpillars that I've seen in my yard this year. She's chowing down on Milkweed Leaves. This is a rather close-up macro shot, 'cause she's still very small. Her mom probably laid her eggs yesterday. Early this morning there were 12 or so tiny caterpillars eating as quickly as they could.

Plant more milkweed plants. Native ones for your region are best, but any old milkweed will do. Please help Save the Monarchs!
