Well, well, well

After last night's walk had whetted our appetites, 8 of us (4 Blippers and 4 non-Blippers) plus 3 pooches went for an even longer meander today around a group of lovely villages called collectively "The Lenches". We think we walked about 7 miles, but there was a big debate about this - it could have been anything between 6 miles and 43, although that would have been going some. We were back home for about 4:30, and straight into a nice warm bath to ease the aching limbs.

It is a beautiful walk, through woods and fields, and there are some stunning views across to the Malvern Hills. The villages are chocolate-box pretty with many timbered cottages with lovely gardens.

This well (now unused and sealed off) was in the village of Rous Lench and had a lovely little roof.

There is Atch Lench, Rous Lench, Church Lench, Ab Lench and Sherriff's' Lench (and I hope I haven't forgotten any).

We even had a pic-nic lench.
